More than 150 people turned up for the book exchange at the Wyspiański Pavillion last Sunday afternoon. The swap coincided with International Translation Day; there was no shortage of foreign language books and literature in Polish translation. Those who couldn’t make it last Sunday are invited to a great literary feast in a little more than three weeks. This year’s Conrad Festival (the 22nd – 28th of October) will be accompanied by two editions of the campaign: at the Book Fair in Krakow (the 25th – 28th of October, ul. Centralna 41a, stand no. A26) and in Galeria Krakowska (the 25th of October – 4th November, in the framework of an exhibition entitled Books in Fashion – from Clay Tablet to E-book, ul. Pawia 5, Hala Grodzka, floor -1).
